Grundy joined the Wecker Hall project team mid-design, providing full Owner’s Representative 

Services.

• Scope included developing and managing a comprehensive master schedule and project budget, which had not been established prior to our involvement. We guided the project through detailed cost estimates and successfully facilitated negotiations for the final Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). Since joining the team, we have continued to manage the entire project budget through construction.

• Facility will unite the Air Force Academy Foundation and Association of Graduates into a 

single headquarters, fostering collaboration and operational efficiency. Designed with a strong 

emphasis on sustainability, Wecker Hall incorporates a geothermal field and rooftop photovoltaic (PV) panels to achieve net-zero energy goals.

• Mid-century modern design aligns with the Air Force Academy’s architectural standards while 

providing office spaces for 80–100 staff, conference rooms, breakout areas, and modern 

amenities.

• Our leadership and expertise have been instrumental in delivering this cutting-edge, sustainable facility, supporting the Academy’s mission and advancing the philanthropic organizations’ vital work.
